15,500 Miles and Counting

My machine has been used on our family's ranch since it was new. Maintenance intervals were, um, longer than recommended. Like once a year, maybe. 15,500 miles later it uses a little oil but otherwise it is mechanically sound. The bottom of the frame is completely smashed from hitting rocks in the pasture. It has been abused in every possible manner. I've ridden it in all weather conditions, from -45 to 110. I've had to run a nipco heater on it to thaw the ice so I could shift gears with the toe shifter. I think this is the 4th set of tires. Long story short, it has been the most reliable, hardest working piece of equipment I have ever owned. My only complaints are the rough ride and the brake system. Too much maintenance involved with the brakes, in my opinion.
